The National Service Scheme is an Indian government-sponsored public service program conducted by ministry of youth affairs and sports of government of India. Popularly known as NSS, the scheme was launched in 1969.
Every year the Vishveshwarya Technological University, Belgum conducts an NSS camp in which the Guru Nanak Dev Engineering Collage has participated. The camp was conducted in the Ashtoor village near Bidar. The camp was conducted from 23-03-2019 to 28-03-2019. The program was under the guidance of our NSS program officer Dr. Kishan Singh, the principal of GNDEC Dr.Ashok Biradar, the Programme Coordinator of VTU Shri. Appasab L V and the chairman SNJSF Bidar Dr. S . Balbir Singh
